The Importance of CEFEX Certification
The Centre for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX) defines a fiduciary as a person or organization who is managing the assets of another person and stands in a special relationship of trust, confidence, and/or legal responsibility. InterServ was the third RIA in the nation to achieve certification by CEFEX under ISO*19011 for consulting ERISA** plans. This certification assures our clients that we provide sound, professional services designed to help decrease fiduciary risk through adherence to a process. An independent firm audits InterServ annually to ensure continued compliance with this standard.
